The meeting stressed that the pharmaceutical industry and medical equipment industry are an important foundation for health care, which is related to people's life and health and high-quality development. We should strive to improve the resilience and modernization of the pharmaceutical industry and medical equipment industry, enhance the supply capacity of high-end drugs, key technologies, and raw materials, and accelerate the completion of shortcomings in China's high-end medical equipment. It is necessary to focus on the characteristics of high difficulty, long cycle and high investment in pharmaceutical research and innovation, provide full-chain support, encourage and guide the development and expansion of leading pharmaceutical enterprises, and improve industrial concentration and market competitiveness.
