China should not only consolidate its position in the developed pharmaceutical market but also provide high-quality drugs to countries participating in the "Belt and Road" initiative, fostering a more balanced and equal global development partnership that serves the common interests of humanity.
Wu Qingwen stated that in recent years, Suzhou has diligently implemented the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on Jiangsu and Suzhou, focusing on achieving self-reliance and strength in high-level technology, and continually deepening its commitment to the biopharmaceutical industry. Suzhou has become one of the cities in China with the closest integration of openness and innovation, innovation and industry, and industry and capital. He expressed the hope for deep and meaningful exchanges and cooperation between experts, scholars, entrepreneurs, and Suzhou. The China Medical Innovation and Investment Conference, initiated by the China Medical Innovation Promotion Association in 2016, has become a high-level platform for dialogue between the medical and investment sectors.
